It is best to get your certification, once you are a certified technician you can work in any state. Once you get to that state verify if they also require a license if not your good to go. In CA a pharmacy technician can find employment w/just the license in 2015 the CA Board of Pharmacy will require for technician to be also certified. So it's best to get certified.
