find how much mg infuse per hour
100mg/8hr = Xmg/1hr
X = 100/8 = 12.5mg/hr
find how much ml in 12.5 mg
750mg/1000ml = 12.5mg/ Xml
X = 1000 x 12.5/750 = 16.6666ml 0r 16.666ml/hr

gtt/min= ml/hr x drop factor / 60 min
= 16.666 x 15gtt/ml/ 60
=4.166

I got 4.16gtt/min

-set up proportion
1000mL/750mg= XmL/100mg
X=133.33333

[vol (mL) x drop factor]/time (min) = gtt/min

(133.3333 x 15gtt/mL)/ (8hr x 60min) = 4.16gtt/min

I ALSO GOT 4.16.

100 MG OF SOLUTE TAKES 8 HOUR

SO 75O MG OF SOLUTE TAKES 60 HOURS OR 3600 MTS

SO 1000 ML SOLVENT ALSO TAKES 3600 MTS

IF 1 ML HAS 15 GTT OR DROPS 1000 ML HAS 15000 GTT OR DROPS.

15000 GTT OR DROPS TAKES 3600 MTS.

THEN IN I MT THERE WILL BE 15000/3600=4.166 DROPS OR GTT/ MIN
