felony and pharm tech license?

I have been convicted of bank fraud and embezzlement in 1999. Since then, I've completed my probation and have been off probation since 2004. I obtained a pharm tech license in 1997 and was to renew my license 2001. I am now considering renewing my license and going back to school to become a pharmacist. I want to know can this felony prevent me from renewing my license for the state of CA. Please assist.
