A 10g vial label states that the concentration is 100mg/ml if you add 87ml.How much you need to add to get a concentration of 50mg/ml.

 Jan 16, 2011 Too many mLs? by: Anonymous I understand how you set up and solved the problem but although 174mL would equal a concentration of 50mg/ml, I think the max that would fit in a 10g vial is 100mL. Would it work if you added 43.5mL (87mL/2) of diluent instead?
