Question About PTCB exam

by Richard

I'm taking the certification exam in one week and I just want to know is it true what most people say, that I should really focus on studying the calculations and laws rather than trying to memorize all those medications, their sites of action, and side effects?

Reply :(by Keith) I would say to study everything you can. Knowing the top 200 Drugs and their uses is important. However, if you are not excellent in math, maybe you'll want to prioritize that. To determine what your weaknesses are, take some practice exams. My opinion is that knowing the Drugs is equally important once you are working.

I took the PTCB exam and failed it. I know that I have to wait 2 months before I can retake it. Should I call to the Pearson Vue or what should I do after 2 months in order to retake the test?
