Does a DUI prevent you from getting Pharmacy Tech Certified?

I recently (in the state of California) got a DUI. Now, I want to return to pharmacy tech school. However, I want to know if on an alcohol breathalyzer DUI conviction will bar me from getting my state license in California. Please answer honestly, even if it's bad.

It sounds to me that you got it while majoring in health and medical fields. If that is the case, sorry, you are now disqualify from ever getting in the health and medical field.

If you got it BEFORE you major in the health and medical, than they will over look it.

I HAD A DUI BACK 2007 IN VIRGINA. I ENDED UP WITH A MISDEMEANOR ON MY RECORDS. I HAD TAKEN THE PHARMACY TECH COURSE IN FORMAL CLASSROOM AND GOT CERTIFIED IN 2004, BUT NOT NATIONALLY (PTCB). I NEVER PURSUED THE FIELD. NOW I AM CONSIDERING TO BECOME PTCB CERTIFIED. WILL MY MISDEMEANOR OFFENSE IMPEDE MY PURSUE IN THIS CAREER?
