Dr. prescribed ibuprofen 150 mg PO q 6hrs. for 55lb child. manufacturer's information that accompanies ibuprofen indicated that the recommended dosage fir children is 16 to 40 mg per kg of body weight per day in 3 to 4 divided doses. what is the minimum amount of mgs of ibuprofen should that this child should receive per day?
